Due to the bad weather in Ukraine, it is now impossible to harvest soybeans, corn and sunflower. Prices are rising due to the work of the "grain corridor" and the corresponding increase in demand for products.

The European Commission has published indicators of foreign trade in dairy products for the first half of the year. At the beginning of the year, sales were insignificant, but in July and August the situation changed significantly, and now we can expect a pleasant annual result.

In Ukraine, the growth rate of meat and lard prices is maintained. Over the last year, the price has increased by almost 27%.

At the committee hearings in Zhytomyr, the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Holovnya noted that Polissia is a guarantor of food security for Ukraine, because the region provides about 10% of the total gross agricultural production, is a leader in the production of oats (more than 45% of the total Ukraine) and buckwheat (30%).

8 ships will be sent today as part of the "grain initiative" from the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa. The total weight of the cargo, which will be corrected, is almost 132 thousand tons, the ships will go to the countries of Africa, Europe and Asia.

Changes in safety requirements related to the quality of milk and dairy products are another step in bringing the Ukrainian dairy industry closer to the requirements of European legislation.

In 2021/2022, Ukraine sent almost 1.4 million tons of soybeans abroad, last season the figure was only 5% higher.

On September 19, a round table "Grain exports from Ukraine" was held in Ukraine at the initiative of the Embassy of Sweden, which was dedicated to the topic of grain exports from Ukraine through neighboring countries, in particular Slovakia. The purpose of the event was to develop alternative export routes, as well as to alleviate the food security situation around the world.
