Specialists from the Ukrainian union "Ukroliyaprom" - an active body for the protection and strengthening of market and international relations - predict that this year Ukraine can send about 4.2 million tons of sunflower oil abroad.

The market is in balance with supply and demand as strong barley harvests in Australia and France put pressure on prices, but they are supported by a reduced crop in Argentina, strong demand for barley in Canada and reduced production in Ukraine due to the war.

By sending a large amount of soybeans abroad, producers are forced to raise prices to ensure the necessary volumes, but on the contrary, prices have fallen on international markets, as new harvests are expected to be delivered from various countries, in particular from Brazil, according to experts.

In Ukraine, the first register of guarantees of origin in renewable energy - the register of biomethane - is being prepared for launch.

According to the State Customs Service, as of January 24, almost 78 thousand tons of flour were sent abroad for the 2022/23 season, which is more than the figure for the same period last season, when only 62.4 thousand tons were exported.

The number of dairy cows in the European Union is predicted to fall below 20 million in 2023. Compared to 2016, this reduction is 1.7 million heads, and from 2021 - 564 thousand.
