Since the beginning of the new harvest season in our farms, the price of these products has started to decrease rapidly, experts from the EasyFruit platform report, and by now the price has already become lower than it was during the same period last year.
Analysts note that there are several factors that have influenced such a situation with prices. Recently, the weather situation in our country normalized, after which more products began to appear on the market. And due to the bad weather before that, the cabbage that had already been harvested turned out to be of not very good quality and began to crack.
Today, Ukrainian producers sell goods at 26-35 hryvnias per kilogram, which is approximately 15% less than a week ago. Also, cabbage is currently not very well bought not only by Ukrainians, but also stores are limited to small batches for sale.
If we now compare this price with last year's, it will turn out that the cost is almost 14% lower, and analysts note that it is more likely to continue to fall.
