The amount of honey sent abroad last month was approximately 3.7 thousand tons, which is about 25-30% less than the figures in May. Thus, the value of shipped products for June is about 8 million dollars, which in turn is 3.3 million dollars less than in the last month of spring, according to analysts from the Shareuapotential platform.
Most of all, last month, Ukrainian honey was sent to such countries as Spain, Germany and Poland.
In the first half of this year, our country sent approximately 25,000 tons of honey, valued at $60 million, abroad. On average, 1 kilogram of honey costs $2.5, this cost is 19% lower compared to the same period last year.
Also, the average price has fallen significantly over the past three months, in April it was $2.65 per kilogram, and in May it fell to almost $2.14. In the first month of summer, the price almost did not change.
