Last month, our country sent approximately 38.5 thousand tons of chicken meat abroad, and this indicator is 500 tons more than in May, according to analysts from the Shareuapotentia platform.
Thus, in the first half of 2023, our country exported more than 213,000 tons of poultry meat worth approximately $393 million. Compared to the same period last year, the number of products shipped increased by almost 8%, but the total cost of products unfortunately fell by about 10% due to a decrease in the average price.
Last year, in the first half of the year, the average price of meat was within $2.2 per 1 kilogram, in the same year, the price decreased by $0.5, but in the last few months it increased to $2.
Most of all Ukrainian meat is ordered by countries such as Slovakia, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
