In the last month of spring, when the berry was just beginning to appear on the shelves of stores and bazaars, the price of this product was able to impress Ukrainians. Since the beginning of the summer, the cost has decreased to two-digit numbers, but despite this, it continues to remain quite high and unaffordable for many citizens of our country. Despite this, analysts from the EasyFruit platform predict a new increase in the price of berries in the near future with a decrease in product quality.
This year, our citizens should not expect low prices for this berry, as the main areas where the products came from are still under occupation. Therefore, unfortunately, it will not be possible to visit the delicious cherries from the Zaporizhzhia region this season. The products that will be sold will generally be imported.
After quite high prices for cherries since the beginning of the season, which shocked our citizens, the distributors had to quickly reduce the price, since the demand was minimal. As soon as a locally produced berry appeared on the market, the price tag immediately decreased, but unfortunately the quality of the products is not the best.
In the near future, a later-ripening berry should appear on the market, but due to the bad weather in all regions of our country, experts say that the quality of the products is also in serious doubt.
