In the first half of this month, our country sent abroad 54.5 million tons of oil, grain, leguminous crops and products made from them, according to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine.

Dairy products of Ukraine were almost always aimed at export, but recently the amount of products sent abroad gradually decreased, but with the beginning of a full-scale invasion by the aggressor country, it became a real salvation for the dairy industry

Operational data of the State Customs Service show that as of March 24, since the beginning of 2022/23, Ukraine exported 36,591 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 4,294 tons in March.

Ukrainian sunflower oil prices fell on all delivery bases and yesterday fell below the $1,000/t level to $990/t for April delivery on a CIF-Turkey basis and $980/t on a CIF-Varna basis, although recently European buyers could not to compete with the Turkish ones, as prices were on average 4.5% higher in the latter.

In two months of this year, our country sent almost 55% more dairy products abroad than last year for a similar period of time, roughly 16.5 thousand tons. The value of the shipped products has also increased by approximately 34%, currently it is $36 million. The amount of cheese shipped abroad has also increased significantly, according to the experts of the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club.
