In the near future, the prices of some product categories, such as meat, sausage and vegetables, may rise again in our markets. Analysts also predict that price increases will begin closer to the Christmas and New Year holidays, but in fact this is a standard price increase for this time period.
Experts note that even when the country is at war, our citizens will still prepare for the New Year holidays. Such positive dynamics of price growth is typical for the pre-holiday period.
The prices of meat, sausage products and vegetables will start to rise first. Due to the end of the season for vegetables, the market now contains either greenhouse or imported products, which in turn is reflected in the price.
The price of potatoes is expected to rise by 6-8%, and the price of beets will increase by about the same amount. Also, the cost of domestic fruits will increase by 10-12%. Citrus fruits will grow by 15-20%.
