Due to another outbreak of bird flu in our region, the import of poultry and poultry products from certain states of the USA has been banned, representatives of the State Production and Consumer Service report.
Yes, even a week ago, they banned imports from such states as Washington, California and Alabama. At the end of last month, states such as Iowa and Arizona were also banned, and states such as Montana, Utah, Dakota and Minnesota were the first to be banned.
But there are products that, despite the ban, can be imported, namely products that are processed by appropriate methods that destroy the causative agent of this disease, they must comply with our customs legislation, namely the requirements for importing food products into the territory of our state.
