Food prices are a concern to many consumers. We decided to compare the prices of eggs, one of the most essential products, in different shopping points of the city - supermarkets and markets of Kiev and Odessa as of September 14.

In the Kherson region, the repair of the ducker of the Ingulet irrigation system was completed. This is reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.  

Inflation on the consumer market accelerated to 7.5% in August compared to last August (after the annual level of 5.4% in July).

Coffee prices are rising all over the world. This is the result of a prolonged drought in Brazil.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and as a whole a draft law on amendments to some laws of Ukraine on improving the quality and safety of food products, including baby food (reg. No. 5148). The message was posted on the parliament's website.

According to the representatives of the greenhouses, the downward trend in prices was triggered by a significant increase in the supply of vegetables on the market, although trade in this sector remained at a low level.

At the beginning of autumn, the prices of vegetables for borscht were quite stable, but the prices of some vegetables, such as carrots and white cabbage, increased due to a decrease in supply. 

At the end of the summer, the prices of some vegetables in Ukraine increased significantly. Only the price of white cabbage continues to fall.
