Food prices are a concern to many consumers. We decided to compare the prices of eggs, one of the most essential products, in different shopping points of the city — supermarkets and markets of Kiev and Odessa as of September 14.
In particular, the average price of «Kvochka» brand eggs in supermarkets was 38.90 UAH per dozen. «Yasensvit» is more expensive — UAH 40.13 per dozen. However, to buy 30 of the same eggs, you need to pay UAH 122.20.
Please note that prices in different supermarkets can vary greatly. For example, if «Auchan» sells «Yasensvit» for UAH 38.90 per dozen, then in «MegaMarket» you have to pay UAH 41.50 per dozen.
The price of a dozen M eggs in the Capital Market is from UAH 28.00 to UAH 32.00. L is 33.00-38.00 UAH for ten. However, the price of the XL ranges from 40.00 to 42.00 UAH per tenth.
Prices for table eggs on the Odesa market range from UAH 30 (wholesale) to UAH 58.00. There are «young» eggs with a minimum price of 30 hryvnias. But giant eggs are sold for UAH 52.00-58.00.
