Last week, light rainfall across much of the country did not interfere with the harvesting process, which helped to gradually saturate the market with sunflowers.
However, the problem of forming a raw material base in enterprises remained. Sunflowers were mostly sold in small batches by farmers who could not store the raw materials or needed to replenish their supplies. However, large-tonnage batches were also offered more often.
In general, demand prices for sunflower were in the range of 20 000-21 200 UAH/t CPT. However, factories that urgently needed to replenish their stocks were willing to pay extra for larger volumes, resulting in individual purchase prices exceeding UAH 21,400-21,500/tonne CPT.
