Changes in the prices of fruits and vegetables in Ukraine

At the end of the summer, the prices of some vegetables in Ukraine increased significantly. Only the price of white cabbage continues to fall.

Last week, farmers sold cabbage for UAH 18 per kilogram, a week ago — for UAH 20.

At the same time, the price of onions went up. Last week, producers sold vegetables for UAH 10-13 per kilogram, while the minimum price for onions has now reached UAH 12.

Meanwhile, the price of tomatoes went up for three weeks in a row. Last week, the maximum wholesale price was UAH 50, and the day before — UAH 45. The price of cauliflower has increased significantly, from 30-35 hryvnias to 45-55 hryvnias per kg. The price of zucchini also increased from UAH 10-15/kg to UAH 12-20/kg.

As for fruit, the price of plum has gone up. Last week, farmers sold fruit for UAH 15-30/kg, a week ago — for UAH 10-20/kg. Melon prices are also higher. They were sold at the end of August for 25-30 UAH/kg, and a week earlier — for 15-25 UAH/kg.
