The increase in trade activity contributes to the increase in carrot prices on Ukrainian farms. 

Ukrainian farmers have already planted 5.7 million hectares of winter crops. Sowing of winter crops has begun in all regions, about 4.7 million hectares (90%) have been planted. Winter rapeseed is planted on more than 1 million hectares. This is reported by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy.

At its meeting on October 25, the Government of Ukraine approved the maximum insurance rates for insuring the future harvest of sugar beet as part of state support for agricultural insurance risks. It also approved the mechanism and procedure for the application of these tariffs. The corresponding decision is contained in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 25, 2015. No 1228.

In Ukraine, the price of greenhouse cucumbers continues to rise rapidly. According to market sources, the main reason for the price increase in this segment is the shortage of these vegetables in the country due to the rather limited supply of the product at domestic enterprises.
