In the last month of 2022, the price of the food basket in Ukraine increased by almost 39% compared to 2021.
According to experts, Olivier's New Year's salad has also become more expensive by approximately 35-36%, experts also noted that the price of food products will directly depend on the energy situation.
That is, if the outages continue, even with additional energy generation, the cost of service will increase and this will provoke an additional cost increase of 2-3% every month.
Vegetables are currently the leader in price growth and, unfortunately, a decrease in value is not predicted in the near future.
In 2022, due to Russia's occupation of some regions of our country, the vegetables that usually arrived did not reach the Ukrainian market. Therefore, due to a partial reorientation towards imports, prices are higher than they were in comparison with last year's indicators.
