Despite the full-scale war started by the occupiers, since the beginning of 2022, the number of «extra» quality dairy products is gradually increasing, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports.
Since the end of February, all farmers have been forced to constantly solve problems with electricity and disinfection of animals, and during the whole time, it was possible to observe a shortage of medicines for livestock, especially in the months close to hostilities, but despite all the problems, all indicators of safety and quality are only increasing.
Among the total amount of milk accepted for processing in 2022, the largest amount is the extra grade, namely 40%, which is 9% more than last year. The highest grade received 29% and this almost corresponds to last year's indicators, but the first grade has decreased by 8% and now the total share is 28%.
