Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi met with Japanese Ambassador Matsuda Kuninori in Ukraine to discuss cooperation in the agricultural sector and, in particular, Japan's support for Ukrainian farmers and assistance to domestic agriculture in general.
Japan will consider the possibility of helping Ukraine with energy supply, as well as providing generators and seeds for a successful sowing campaign in our country.

In addition, the Japanese side supported and will provide assistance to the humanitarian food program Grain from Ukraine, which was initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi to provide more than 5 million residents of African and Asian countries with grain.

Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Matsuda Kuninori expressed confidence in Ukraine's victory in a full-scale war and emphasized that Japan is interested in further strengthening relations with Ukraine.

The parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation in agricultural and related fields, which involves the introduction of new technologies, the development of entrepreneurship and engineering in Ukraine.
