Ukraine began to send less wheat abroad, instead, the amount of corn and sunflowers sent increased

In the first half of this month, our country sent abroad 54.5 million tons of oil, grain, leguminous crops and products made from them, according to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine.

24.3 million tons of corn and 12.3 million tons of wheat followed by sunflower oil, 4.4 million tons of which were shipped.

Also, almost 4 million tons of agricultural products were exported in the first half of March. This indicator exceeds last month's indicators by only 100-150 thousand tons, that is, the amount of shipped products has almost not changed compared to February. The amount of exported wheat decreased the most this month to 830,000 tons (-155,000 tons compared to February).

On the contrary, the amount of corn shipped in March increased, almost 2 million tons were exported, which is 260,000 tons more than last month, and the amount of oils also increased slightly, approximately by 19,000 tons. Also, the amount of sunflower seeds increased slightly to 110,000 tons by approximately 26,000 tons.
