The reason for the increase in the prices of dairy products is due to several factors:
-Rising milk prices on the world market. This is due to the decrease in milk supply due to the war in Ukraine and other factors.
-Increasing costs for the production of dairy products. This is due to the increase in prices for energy carriers, packaging and other production components.
-Reduction of competition on the market of dairy products in Ukraine.
Due to the war, some Ukrainian manufacturers were forced to stop work, which led to a decrease in the supply of products.
Prices for dairy products in Ukraine are expected to continue to rise in the coming months.
This can negatively affect the purchasing power of Ukrainians, because dairy products are an important part of the diet.
The Government of Ukraine is taking measures to curb the rise in prices for dairy products.
In particular:
— State regulation of milk prices was introduced.
— Financial support is provided to Ukrainian producers of dairy products.
-Work is being carried out on the diversification of markets for Ukrainian dairy products.
Thanks to these measures, it is expected that the growth of prices for dairy products in Ukraine will be slowed down.
