Deputies of the VRU Committee on Land Policy supported the proposal of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to amend a number of laws to improve the requirements of the legislation on food products, feed, veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
The main task is to improve the conditions for the production and circulation of safe and high-quality food products, to improve the system of ensuring the welfare of animals, which will positively contribute to the market, to ensure the rights and interests of business entities, citizens and the state.
Thanks to the improvement of regulation in these areas, Ukraine will be able to fulfill the international obligations provided for in the Association Agreement. And besides, increase competitiveness and improve investment attractiveness.
