Many Ukrainians are especially concerned about the prices of social goods, which they cannot do without. Examples are salt, sugar, and flour. Notice that compared to the previous month, the cost of these has increased, albeit slightly.
In particular, as of August 29, sugar was sold at an average price of UAH 36.52/kg, which is higher than the July price of UAH 35.50/kg. At the same time, some supermarkets have significant price differences. For example, you can buy from Novus for UAH 34.89/kg, while at Megamarket you will have to pay UAH 41.40/kg.
The price of sea salt remained at the same level as last month — UAH 35.74/kg. It is sold in Ashan for UAH 33.88/kg and in Megamarket for UAH 37.60/kg.
At the same time, «Khutorok» flour costs UAH 26.72 per kg, i.e. UAH 1.71 more expensive. The same 2 kg of flour can be purchased for 49.70 UAH/kg. This is higher than the 44.11 UAH in July.
