In January, Ukraine shipped 5.5 million tons of agricultural products

06.02.2023 10:47

In January, Ukraine shipped 5.5 million tons of grain, oil crops and their processing products, which is 1.3 million tons less than in December. The downward trend is due to the artificial blocking of the «grain corridor» by Russian inspectors.
Thus, in the first month of the new year, deliveries of absolutely all agricultural crops decreased. In particular, corn went by 700 thousand tons less — 2.6 million tons, and wheat — by 250 thousand tons — 1.3 million tons.
The general picture of shipments for January in percentages is as follows:
— 47.36% — corn;
— 24.23% — wheat;
— 6.33% — sunflower oil;
— 6.29% — soybeans;
— 5.38% — meal;
— 3.46% — sunflower seeds;
— 3.39% — rape;
— 3.08% — barley;
— 0.49% — soybean oil.
