Barley and oak harvests increased in Vinnytsia

Harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in the Vinnytsia region has entered the final phase. Farmers in the region have harvested about 1.9 million tons of grain, representing 90% of the area planted with these crops.

At the same time, harvesting of winter barley, winter wheat and peas is completed. The yield of winter barley was 54.1 c/ha, which is 4.2 c/ha higher than last year, of winter rye 42.2 c/ha and peas 26.2 c/ha, at the level of last year. Winter wheat has been threshed on 89% of the area. Winter wheat has been threshed on 89% of the area.

Spring barley and spring wheat were harvested on 84% and 81% of the area, respectively, with a yield of 44.2 c/ha, which is 1.3 c/ha higher than last year.

Oats were harvested on 61% of the area, and the yield was 30.8 c/ha, which is higher than the previous year.

The region also harvested about 353,000 tonnes of rapeseed, which was harvested on 96% of the area.
