Last week, the feed corn sector saw a downward price trend. This was a reaction to the export market situation.
Ukraine is also in the midst of a harvesting campaign, which has contributed to a slight decrease in prices. However, high demand from traders and a shortage of supply due to sales restrictions from farmers continued to support prices.
During this period, demand prices for fodder corn decreased by 100-200 UAH/t and were mostly fixed in the range of 7,900-9,100 UAH /t СРT.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, as of October 17, 13.187 million tons of corn were harvested from 2.37 million hectares (59% of the planned) with a yield of 55.7 q/ha.
