30.08.2022 18:14

Today, 6 ships left three Ukrainian ports almost simultaneously. One of them, the bulker KATERIA, with approximately 38,000 tons of wheat on board, will go to Yemen in accordance with the UN initiative to overcome the humanitarian disaster, where more than half of the population is suffering from hunger. There are also 145,000 agricultural products on the other 5 ships.

«In almost one month, we have significantly increased the volume of exports, but in order to achieve our goal, we need 100-150 ships of waste from our three ports per month. Ukraine also takes part in humanitarian initiatives, today the second ship under the UN program to combat hunger left. We are aware of our responsibility to the whole world and therefore we are going to meet the civilized society», — commented Oleksandr Kubrakov.
It should be noted that over 60 ships carrying almost 1.6 million tons of agricultural products left our ports during the month of the grain initiative.
