Prices for vegetables continue to rise in Ukraine, today the cost of a kilogram of cucumber is UAH 74.99, which is almost UAH 9 more expensive than the average figure for September.
Also, as the Ministry of Finance notes, prices have become higher for other varieties of cucumbers. Example :
-The price of smooth cucumbers increased by 4.7 UAH/kg, previously they cost 70.8 UAH, now 75.5 UAH.
-Prickly cucumbers became more expensive by UAH 11.6, the price rose from UAH 78.4 to UAH 90.
-Short-fruited cucumbers now cost 72.9 UAH, and the price has increased by almost 15 UAH.
-Greenhouse cucumbers can now be purchased for UAH 73. per kilogram, the difference from the previous month is almost UAH 17.
The positive dynamics of cucumber price growth has been maintained for more than a month, for example, the price of an ordinary cucumber last decreased only at the beginning of August by UAH 3.5 and amounted to UAH 32.2 per kilogram. After that, the price increased twice and is currently fixed at 75 hryvnias. Greenhouse cucumbers have also become more expensive for the second month in a row. At the beginning of August, the price fluctuated between UAH 32.2 per kilogram and currently UAH 88.3 per kilogram, that is, the price has increased by UAH 56.
