At the end of April, the price of potatoes in our country began to rise, experts from the portal «znaj.ua» report.
Thus, at the end of last month, the average price of 1 kilogram of potatoes was roughly UAH 10.30. It should be noted that in March 1 kilogram cost UAH 10.
Currently, the highest price for potatoes is recorded in the MegaMarket supermarket, almost UAH 14 per 1 kilogram, and the lowest price for the product can be found in the Varus store, where it costs approximately UAH 8.6 per kilogram.
But young potatoes have become much cheaper compared to the first month of spring. Now it can be purchased for UAH 14.5, and in March it cost UAH 23 per kilogram. Also, the price of pink potatoes has fallen slightly, approximately by 50-60 kopecks, currently the vegetable can be purchased for 11.3 hryvnias/kg.

— Metro 9.25 UAH/kg;
— Auchan UAH 9.11/kg;
— Megamarket UAH 13.95/kg;
— Varus 8.7 UAH/kg.
