During the last week in Ukraine, the gradual decrease in the price of wheat continues, experts from the «APK-Inform» platform report.
This situation with the cost of products occurs due to the fact that enterprises engaged in wheat processing and flour production are not so active in purchasing raw materials, as they are currently noting difficulties with the sale of flour and also the accumulation of products in warehouses. Also, some buyers have already formed significant volumes of products for future work, so they are currently not interested in additional purchases, which also contributes to a gradual decrease in cost.
So, last week, the price of 2nd and 3rd grade wheat was within 5,800-6,800 hryvnias for 1 ton, which is already 100-200 hryvnias less than at the beginning of May.
