This week, many Ukrainian farmers who deal with wheat and its processing began to gradually reduce the prices of these products, the experts of «APK-Inform» report.
This trend is primarily due to the fact that now the need to buy grain is decreasing due to the difficult sale of flour. Moreover, many companies report a sufficient amount of this raw material for work. Also, at the beginning of the sowing season, when prices began to rise a little, a large number of offers from Ukrainian farmers appeared, and gradually due to a decrease in demand, the cost of products also decreased.
Therefore, now flour sellers have reduced the price of 2nd and 3rd grade wheat by approximately UAH 150-200/ton, and at the beginning of this month the prices were in the range of UAH 6,250-7,200 and 6,100-7,000 UAH/ton, respectively.
