According to analysts from the EasyFruit platform, the amount of frozen berries sent abroad in the 2022-2023 season has grown significantly and has now reached almost 41,000 tons, which is about 30% more compared to last year.
In the first three months of 2023, Ukrainian producers shipped 9.2 thousand tons, which is approximately one and a half times more than last year, despite the fact that exports were at a fairly high level even then.
Despite the fact that the cost of production in Europe is quite low at the moment, the industry was still profitable, although it began to gradually decrease.
Experts say that at a time when most European producers were working at a loss, our companies managed to get money for exporting this berry.
