In Ukraine, the price of vegetables rose the most in February

In February, most products in Ukraine continued to rise in price, with onions and carrots rising in price the most.

According to the State Statistics Service, compared to January, onions rose in price by 31.9% — from UAH 32 to UAH 42.3/kg, carrots — by 17.8%, from UAH 24.4 to UAH 28.8/kg.

Not significantly, but prices also increased for apples — by 5%, white cabbage — 8.3%, and potatoes — 1.8%.

On the other hand, according to published data, the price of beets fell in February — to UAH 11.4 from UAH 12.2 in January (-5.9%), eggs — to UAH 62 from UAH 63.1 (-1.9%), buckwheat groats, a kilogram of which in February cost on average UAH 65.7 against UAH 68.9 in January (-4.6%).
