The price of beets in our country has already decreased so much that it has become several times lower than last year and continues to decrease, experts from the EasyFruit platform report.
Such a negative dynamics of price growth is a big problem for Ukrainian farmers, who bear great losses due to an attack by the aggressor country and problems with energy supply, the cost price of the product is currently much higher.
Also, according to experts, even since the beginning of this week, the price of these products has fallen by approximately 15-16%. Currently, 1 kilogram can be purchased for UAH 4-7, depending on the quantity and quality of the batch, and this is despite the fact that recently the amount of really high-quality products in farmers' warehouses is rapidly decreasing.
Farmers themselves call lack of interest in this product as the main factor of this problem, currently the cost of products is almost 1.5-1.7 times lower compared to last year's figures.
