It is expected that the high market prices for sunflower will not help to accelerate the sales of oil by the farmers. Reported by APK-Inform
Last week, the purchase prices of processors reached 22,000-23,600 UAH/ton of СРT, which is the highest level since February 2022.
So far, the upward trend in commodity prices is maintained by the rise in prices in the export market of sunflower oil.
As of October 3, Ukraine has harvested about 79% of the planned harvested areas. Dry weather during harvest and the lack of need to dry oilseeds contributed to farmers keeping sunflowers in storage.
