Ukraine increases export volumes in December

In the month of December until the 20th, more than 3.7 million tons of agricultural products were shipped from Ukraine, which exceeds last month's figures by 810 thousand tons, according to the data of the Electronic Grain Exchange of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, almost 1.7 million tons of corn were sent abroad, which is almost twice as much as during the same period last month. The amount of wheat sent almost did not change and is 810,000 tons, but 302,000 tons of oil were exported, which is 3,000 less.

Throughout the last quarter, we have been increasing soybean exports. If 117,000 tons of soybeans were shipped in October since the beginning of the month, then already in December this indicator is 240,000 tons, which is more than twice as much. The amount of rapeseed and sunflower shipped also increased and now amounts to 231,000 tons and 195,000 tons.

In total, almost 36 million tons were exported since the beginning of the war, 14 million tons of corn and 8 million tons of wheat were exported.
