Ukraine began to send less dairy products abroad

08.11.2022 13:14

The amount of dairy products sent abroad this month decreased, experts predicted this event, but hoped for not such a significant decrease. A representative of AVK reports that the main factor behind this phenomenon was the decrease in the value of dairy products on the general market.

In general, compared to last month, the amount of exported dairy products decreased by almost 30% and now amounts to approximately 9.1 thousand tons. 2.8 thousand tons of ordinary drinking milk were sent in total, and this is even 2.3% more than in the first month of autumn. However, the export of condensed milk and milk powder halved to 2.2 thousand tons compared to 3.3 thousand tons in September. The amount of fermented milk products also decreased by almost 29%.

As the expert notes, growth is observed only in cheeses. In total, almost 1.4 thousand tons of cheeses were sold last month, which is 23% more compared to last month's figures.
