Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Markiyan Dmytrasevicha said that over the past month, the volume of shipments of agricultural products via alternative routes has increased to a record level and reached the mark of 3.3 million tons.
The official emphasized that since the beginning of the war, it was very important to increase the throughput of exports by land routes, as well as to expand them.
As for exports next year, according to Markiyan Dmytrasevich, the forecast directly depends on the work of the «grain initiative» and the possibility of Mykolaiv port joining it, because this will be able to significantly increase the possibilities of exporting Ukrainian agricultural products and, importantly, will make exports cheaper, because logistics costs are extremely high now.
