The Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solsky, discussed assistance to Ukrainian farmers, access to financial programs for farmers and agribusiness, and the rapid recovery of the industry as a whole with the President of the World Bank in Eastern Europe, Jordan Schwartz, and the Director of Operations of the WB, Gevorg Sargsyan.

It was about the creation of new and financing of existing programs within the framework of support projects, calculated until 2025.

In particular, lending to farms under the «5-7-9» program is available, and subsidies are provided to small farms.

Plans for financing alternative energy sources for elevators were also discussed. This will help reduce costs and increase the reliability of their services such as food drying and storage.

Mykola Solsky emphasized the importance of supporting the reform of the irrigation system of Ukraine.
