The average price of food products at the beginning of the year in our country increased by almost 4% compared to the same period last year, analysts report.
According to the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the price of vegetables increased the most among food products, by more than 13%. Also among the leaders are meat and meat products by more than 10%, the cost of oil on average also increased by more than 10% and milk by more than 9%.
Due to the increase in the price of raw milk, the price of cheeses increased accordingly, by almost 8%, and fish and fish products increased by 5%.
But at the same time, analysts note that the price of bread has fallen by several percent, sugar is also now 10% cheaper, and eggs have also fallen by 15-16%.
Experts believe that at the moment the price of the main products of Ukrainian production is relatively stable.
