On January 9, as part of a visit to African countries, the Ukrainian delegation met with the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Infrastructure and Food Sovereignty of the Republic of Senegal Ali Nguye Ndiaye.
During the meeting, the parties concluded a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of both countries in the field of agriculture, which provides for the development of trade between the countries in agricultural products, cooperation in the field of scientific research, investment, as well as relations between state institutions and private organizations.
Ukrainian representatives emphasized that despite the war, Ukraine will continue to export food to African countries in the necessary volumes, and is also ready to consider the possibility of implementing new logistics projects in Senegal. Namely, we are talking about the possibility of storing Ukrainian grain in grain hubs, which will contribute to the stabilization of prices, predictability of sales and will provide confidence in the necessary volumes of grain.
