The situation with the sale of Ukrainian cheese has somewhat improved

20.04.2023 12:31

On the eve of the last holidays, sales of cheese and dairy products increased significantly. Those engaged in the production of these products had the opportunity to partially sell their accumulated stocks.

At this time, it is difficult to say how much sales have become more active, since many of our citizens have returned from abroad, and also before the holidays, even people who could not afford such expensive products still buy them, including cheese. But the pre-invasion sales level is still a long way off.

The demand itself has increased, but distributors are in no hurry to raise prices, but the initial price is now quite high. It's good that they increased the number of promotional offers before the holidays. Stores are trying to sell all the accumulated products.

The number of products sent abroad is still quite large, but this may change at any time. The main customer of our cheese products is currently Kazakhstan, to which Russia and Belarus currently want to supply their products, it will be cheaper there. But currently the number of export products exceeds the indicators of previous years.

About 50% of all products were sent to Kazakhstan, followed by Moldova, approximately 30-35%.
