The Swiss humanitarian project covered 233 dairy farms in Chernihiv, Kyiv and Sumy regions. With his help, 155 farms have already received the necessary hygiene products for milk production, another 78 will receive help in November.
The goal of this project is to ensure food security and improve access to quality and safe dairy products for the population of Ukraine. The total budget is about 100 million hryvnias.
Also, now there is an opportunity to redirect funds to the Kharkiv region, because together with Sumy, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, in peacetime in 2021, these regions provided more than 30% of milk and were key suppliers of milk for processing of the highest quality — the «Extra» grade.
