In October, there was a significant increase in prices for popular products that are most often purchased in Ukrainian stores. This list includes vegetables, meat, and eggs.
This information was published on the website of the Ministry of Finance. According to the report, prices for cucumbers, pork, eggs, peppers and potatoes have changed since September.
Of these five products, the most expensive was the Bulgarian pepper. The smallest increase was in the eggs.
Last month, the price of cucumbers in major supermarkets in Ukraine increased from 66.37 UAH to 77.89 UAH per kilogram. The difference between the two is 11.52.
Smooth cucumbers went up in price by almost 10 hryvnias. A kilogram of vegetables is now sold for UAH 94.10.
The price of prickly cucumbers increased by 13.48 and now they cost 89.90 UAH.
During this period, long-fruited cucumbers also became more expensive, the price increased from 81.31 to 89.99. Thus, the difference for this month was 8.68.
The price of a pork belly has changed from UAH 167.72 to UAH 175.95. The difference is 8.75.
The pig shoulder was sold in September for UAH 172.27 and in October for UAH 178.45. The difference between these two periods was 6.18 UAH.
In October, the price of pork kebabs also increased. Currently, a kilogram is sold for UAH 254.70, while in September it cost UAH 239.58, that is, UAH 15.12 cheaper.
The biggest price fluctuation over the last month was for «Yasensvit» chicken eggs (C1 30). Currently, the price of the product is UAH 136.45, in September the price was UAH 122.20, i.e. by UAH 14.25. cheaper The price for others has increased within 5 hryvnias.
Over the past month, the price of Bulgarian pepper has risen more than other vegetables: UAH 142.07 per kilogram in October compared to UAH 116.36 per kilogram in September. In other words, the difference is 25.71.
In October, the price of young potatoes increased from UAH 26.20 to UAH 39.90 per kilogram. This means that during this period the price of vegetables increased by UAH 13.70.
Pink potatoes also rose in price by more than five hryvnias and are now sold at 30.76 hryvnias per kilogram.
