The first ship with Ukrainian agricultural products arrived in Africa in accordance with the UN mission

«When we signed the documents regarding the „grain initiative“, we were aware of our global responsibility to the world, primarily to those countries that are on the verge of famine and humanitarian catastrophe, Africa, Asia, etc.


Today, the bulk carrier BRAVE COMMANDER arrived in Djibouti in accordance with the UN mission to overcome the humanitarian crisis, there were more than 23,000 tons of wheat on board, which is already on its way to consumers in Ethiopia. In total, in cooperation with the UN, two ships were sent, which in total transported almost 50 thousand tons of agricultural products. For our part, we guarantee quick organizational moments and plan to increase the volume of food aid», — noted the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
It should be noted that the BRAVE COMMANDER left the «South» port on August 16, from the same port already on August 30, 2 bulk carriers KATERIA carrying almost 38 tons of grain were sent.
