Thus, by the end of this year in our country, experts expect an increase in the cost of bread by 10% or more, and the price increase will begin already this month.
At the end of summer, we could observe the following average cost of bakery products:
— Wheat bread (high grade flour) 42 hryvnias for 1 kilogram;
— Rye and rye-wheat 36 hryvnias and 41.2 hryvnias;
— The loaf cost 44.8 hryvnias.
In the future, the cost of all these products will be affected by the increase in the price of energy carriers, as well as logistics. Analysts also note the insufficient number of qualified employees due to rather low wages. Due to all these factors, such a price increase is expected by the end of the year.
Also, according to the State Statistics, since the beginning of this year, the price of bakery products has increased by an average of 4%.
