It became known what exactly the cost of watermelon will be in the near future. Experts from the biz.today.ua platform note that the situation with this product will be better than in 2022.
Last year, not many citizens of our country were able to purchase and enjoy watermelon. Due to the attack of the aggressor country and the occupation of certain areas, there were problems with cultivation and logistics, and the products imported from abroad were very expensive. In the same year, a good harvest of this berry is predicted.
The cost of production this year will be significantly lower than in the past, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reports, due to the fact that in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, many areas were demined specifically for melon crops and they were sown in sufficient quantity.
The amount of harvest can be predicted only in the middle of summer, but analysts already note that the amount of products will increase significantly compared to last year.
