In 2023, it is not worth waiting for a significant slowdown in inflation rates, and there are many reasons for this. In particular, hostilities continue and the situation in Ukraine's economy is unstable. The destruction and damage of energy facilities have a great impact.

Manufacturers have not yet fully reflected the increase in their costs in prices, and enterprises in most industries intend to continue increasing the cost of selling their products and services.

Tariffs frozen in 2022 will clearly be revised soon. In the first half of 2023, this will apply to commercial consumers, and in the second — to domestic consumers.

According to NBU estimates, consumer price growth in 2023 will be 21%, while the IMF expects inflation in Ukraine to be around 22.5%.
