Intense competition between processors and traders contributed to the rise in prices, especially for food wheat. This is reported by APK-Inform.
The supply of grain was in short supply, as farmers delayed its sale in hopes of a more favorable price. Significant price increases in the export market also supported prices.
Thus, demand prices for second-class wheat were mostly UAH 8,600-9,700/t SRT, and for fodder wheat — UAH 7,000-8,400/t SRT. In Ukrainian ports, prices for second-class wheat fluctuated between 197-208 USD/t, and for fodder wheat — 179-186 USD/t SRT-port.
