According to last week's data, the prices of fodder corn on the western borders of Ukraine decreased somewhat.
Uncertainty regarding the continuation of the «grain agreement» after the end of the second term of its validity in March and the low pace of shipments for export in this direction contributed to a decrease in the activity of traders' purchases in the ports of Odessa, which became one of the factors of pressure on the price situation.
Also, prices were affected by further strikes by Polish agricultural producers against the export of Ukrainian grain, which collapses the prices of their products, despite the announced state support program.
Demand prices for corn with Hungary and Slovakia decreased to 205-225 USD/t DAP, with Poland to 200-215 USD/t DAP.
