Analysts of the IA «APK-Inform» project reported that for the first time since mid-July, there is a tendency for processors to decrease purchase prices for GM and non-GM soybeans
Purchase prices for GM oilseeds decreased by an average of UAH 500/t. According to the data, the price situation is caused primarily by the active promotion of the harvesting campaign and the arrival of a larger supply of soybeans from farmers who needed an urgent replenishment of working capital.
Analysts added that a number of agricultural producers tried to sell the indicated oilseeds with low quality indicators, waiting for a more favorable price situation for the sale of high-quality soybeans.
