The press service of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine reported that as of February 23, grain and leguminous crops were threshed on 11.27 million hectares, which is 98% of the planned amount.
From this area, 54.14 million tons of grain were collected with an average yield of 48 t/ha.
The main unharvested areas remain under corn, the harvesting of which is currently continuing — grain has been threshed on 4 million hectares (95%), of which 26.79 million tons have been threshed with a yield of 67 t/ha.
«Agrarians of Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Chernivtsi, Kirovohrad, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions have finished harvesting this year's harvest. At the same time, the largest amount of grain was threshed in the Poltava region on February 23 — 5.83 million tons,» the ministry added.
